Merle Edward Bouch, 62, of Route 1, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.
Mr. Bouch was born in Worthington, Penn. A veteran of the Vietnam war, he had retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer, E-7, after 20 years of service. He was a Catholic.
Surviving are his wife, Maria M. Bouch; three daughters, Carmon Patton, Susan McGrath and Christina Rountree; four sons-in-law; two sisters; a brother; and seven grandchildren.
A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, by Father James FX. Healey. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Va.
