Betty Irene Frizzell, 71, of the 5400 block of Welaka Road, went to be with her Heavenly Father Feb. 19, 1997.
A devoted and much-loved wife and mother, she was a native of Roanoke and a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her loving husband, Alvin Frizzell; daughters, Patricia Edwards of Norfolk, Linda Foster and Sandra DeLozier of Virginia Beach; grandson, Stan Foster of Chandler, Ariz.; a son-in-law, Ben DeLozier; brothers, Dan Webster, Sam Webster, Harold Webster and Jim Webster; sisters, Barbara Howard, June Tatum, Alice Kuhn and Vivian Byrd.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home by the Rev. Dick Baker. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
