Maude Plant Beasley, 88, of the 4100 block of San Salvadore Drive, died Feb. 21, 1997.
She was the widow of Norman Beasley. Mrs. Beasley was a retired Bell telephone operator and also worked as a night director at Emily Green Shores. She was a member of Surry Street Baptist Church and was a South Mills, N.C., native.
Survivors include a son, Roy A. Plant Jr. and his wife, Carol of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Roy Lee Plant and his wife, Julia, and Victoria Lee Long and her husband, Henry; and great-grandchildren, Lisa and Elliott.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Norman K. March. The family will receive friends at their residence at 4109 San Salvadore Drive. Loving Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
