Tracy Mozelle, 66, of the 200 block of Wynn St. died Feb. 19, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
A retired store leader at the Little Creek Amphibious Base Commissary with 32 years of service, he was a Kinston, N.C., native and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Portsmouth. He was also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy D. Mozelle of Portsmouth; three daughters, Romona Hunt and Wanda Mozelle, both of Portsmouth, and Gail Bacon of Norfolk; stepmother, Lela St. Cyr of Norfolk; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Clarence Hunt of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Hicks.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in New Bethel Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by Bishop James M. Whitaker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with military honors. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Monday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
