Ruben E. Hodges, 84, of the 8200 block of Edwin Drive died Feb. 22, 1997.
He is survived by his daughters, Elaine Dunn of Virginia Beach, Frances Costa of Chesapeake and Elaine Craig of North Carolina; sons, Jerry D. Hodges of California, Wallace L. Hodges of California and Ron A. Hodges of Woodbridge, Va.; brothers, Alfred and Arthur Hodges, both of Mississippi; sisters, Judy Johnson of Texas and Lauralee Stokes of Mississippi. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was a past trustee member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union and member of A.A.R.P.
The family will receive friends in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. There will be a chapel service at 11 a.m. Tuesday with burial following in Rosewood Memorial Park.
