JAMES K. TATE

James K. ``Jim'' Tate, 29, of the 700 block of Coquina lane, died Feb. 22, 1997, in Wintergreen, Va. He died at the University of Virginia Medical Center from injuries received in a skiing accident.

Born in Biloxi, Miss., he was a member of the Tidewater Harley Owner's Group (Tidewater Hogs). He was a graduate of Richlands High School and received his bachelor's degree in business from Radford College and a master's degree in business administration from James Madison University. He was an insurance agent.

Survivors include wife, Suzanne C. Tate and parents, Lola Tate and Jim Tate of Abingdon, Va.

A funeral was Wednesday in Abingdon. Farris Funeral Home is in charge. Donations can be made to The American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
