Nora Jones Rogers of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive died March 5, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital
Born in Lawrenceville, Va., she was the widow of Ralph Rogers and a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church. She was a retired waitress.
Survivors include a son, Gary L. Rogers of Portsmouth; three daughters, Florence Hoffman of Philadelphia, Beulah Kennedy of Chesapeake, Gertrude Jones of North Carolina; two brothers, Tommy R. Jones of North Carolina, Joe Jones of Scotland Neck, N.C.; two grandchildren, G. William ``Will'' Rogers of Norfolk, Julia A. Rogers of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Bob E. DeWitt. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
