EVANGELINE J. KUKUNAS

Evangeline J. Kukunas, 94, of 424 Massachusetts Ave., died March 5, 1997, in her residence.

Mrs. Kukunas was a native of Kardamyla Chios, Greece. She was the widow of James Kukunas. Mrs. Kukunas was a member of The Greek Orthodox Cathedral Of The Annunciation in Norfolk, a member of The Philoptochos and The Hellenic Woman's Club.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Evgenia Macricosta of Norfolk; a niece, Angelike Kukunas of Greece; several cousins, Mary Houmis, Genovia Bonis, Virginia Houmis, Irene Houmis Caose, Steve Houmis, Nick Bonis, all of Norfolk, Pamela and Anthony Makricosta of West Virginia, Kostas Katsambis of Baltimore, and Kerry Houmas Spafford of Maine.

A church service will be conducted at noon, Saturday, March 8, 1997, at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral Of The Annunciation by The Rev. Constantine Rogakos and The Rev. Demetrios Kehagias. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A Trisagion Service will be held this evening at 6 p.m. in the funeral apartments. Memorial donations may be made to The Greek Orthodox Cathedral Of The Annunciation. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Norfolk Chapel is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
