Rosetta W. Brockett of the 5600 block of Morris Neck Road died March 7, 1997.
A native of Camden County, N.C., Mrs. Brockett was the widow of Brindle A. Brockett. She was a member of Little Piney Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, and the senior choir and missionary society. She was a member of United Order of Tents, Lillies of the Fields, No. 161, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include three daughters, Inez Fisher, Hazel Cooper and Shirley Hughes, all of Virginia Beach; two sons, Henry A. Brockett and Melvin L. Brockett, both of Virginia Beach; brother, William A. ``Gus'' Wilson of Virginia Beach; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and in-laws.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Little Piney Grove Baptist Church, Creeds, Virginia Beach, by the Revs. M.E. Thompkins and A. Jack Scott. Burial will be in Piney Grove Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The United Order of Tents Service will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
