James Edward ``PO'' Williams, 69, of Carver Circle, died March 6, 1997, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
A retired baker at Mary Jane Bakery, he was a Halifax County, N.C., native and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include two sons; a sister; a host of grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with military honors. Viewing in the funeral home will begin at noon today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
