CARL D. PARKER

Carl Douglas Parker, of the 2800 block of Halsey St., died March 5, 1997, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C. He was born in Wilson, N.C.

Survivors include his daughter, Tomika M. Sauls of Wilson; mother, Charity B. Parker of Chesapeake; four brothers, James E. Parker and Nathaniel Parker Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Preston J. Parker and Stanley E. Parker of Chesapeake; a grandchild, Fantasha T. Joyner of Wilson; and many other surviving relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Olive Grove Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. Harry A. Davis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
