RAHL AND LOWN JOIN ROSE & KRUETH: Craig Rahl was named vice president of the resale division and general manager at Rose & Krueth Realty Corp. He was most recently manager of William E. Wood's Haygood office. Paul Lown also joined the real estate company's Lynnhaven office as an associate broker. He was principal broker/owner of Heritage Realty from 1989-1996.

CHESAPEAKE

WATER TREATMENT FACILITY HAS STAFF CHANGES, WINS CONTRACT: Jean Evans was named account manager and John Murphy was named manager of the residential division at Hydrologix. Murphy had worked for the service department. The company was also awarded the contract to provide the ultra-high purity water treatment to the Thomas Jefferson Laboratory (formerly CEBAF) in Newport News.

N-VISION REPORTS FIRST-YEAR EARNINGS: n-Vision Inc., a premier manufacturer of 3D immersive display systems for use in advanced visualization and virtual reality applications, announced results for the year ending Dec. 31, 1996, its first year as a publicly traded company. Revenue for the year ending Dec. 31, 1996, was $1,095,894, a 74.8 percent increase compared to $626,763 reported for the same period one year ago. The company's operating loss for the year decreased to $1,158,941 compared to a loss of $1,368,597 a year ago. The net loss for the year was $4,698,856 compared to a loss of $1,988,158 a year ago. Losses for the year were $.98 per share compared to $.62 per share a year ago.

CLARIFICATIION

It will cost $15 million to refuel the Unit 1 reactor at Virginia Power's nuclear plant in Surry. A photo caption in Saturday's newspaper gave the amount as $25 million, which is what the procedure costs the industry on average.
