LILLIAN CLEO MOSLEY

Lillian Cleo Mosley, 83, of the 1500 block of Halter Drive, died March 14, 1997, of natural causes.

Mrs. Mosley was born in Winston Salem, N.C., and was the widow of Robert L. Mosley. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from domestic work after 60 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary L. Knox of Chesapeake, Doris V. Richardson and Dorothy L. Elliott, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, John T. Elliott and Prenell M. Elliott, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Ruby Owens and Virginia Johns, both of Virginia Beach, and Katherine Goffigan of Boston; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Carol Anthony. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna B. and Wiley R. Franklin.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in New Hope Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by Pastor E. Ray Cox. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services Inc. At other times, the family will be at 2529 Lynn River Drive, Virginia Beach.
