Roland Faville Dickman, 90, of the 2600 block of S. Nansemond Drive, died March 16, 1997, in Portsmouth.
Mr. Dickman was a native of Marshall, Minn., and the widower of Doris H. Dickman. He attended Nansemond River Baptist Church. He was a retired tax law specialist for the IRS and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Ruth Alman of Suffolk; two sons, Robert Edward Dickman of Denver and Francis William Dickman of Cheverly, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dickman was sent from Loving Funeral Home, Portsmouth, to Borgwardt Funeral Home, Beltsville, Md., where a funeral will be held Tuesday. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Washington, D.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Beltsville from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
