JOSEPHINE W. WEYGINT

Josephine Williams Weygint, 84, of the 9400 block of Atwood Ave., died March 16, 1997, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Weygint was born in Jackson, N.C., and was the widow of Lloyd C. Weygint. She was a Protestant; a member for almost 50 years of Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve Association Unit (NU)60 Ocean View; American Legion Auxiliary Unit (NU)0327; Retired Officers Association Auxiliary; Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (NU)3160; North American Benefit Association Review (NU)5; Ocean View Democratic Club; and Monkey Bottom IOOB, Ocean View.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanna W. Lineaweaver of Norfolk; a grandson, Lloyd John Lineaweaver of Apollo, Pa., a granddaughter, Heather Amber Lineaweaver of Norfolk; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Hope Lineaweaver of Apollo.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
