``Tribute to Women,'' an exhibit featuring the work of four women working in various media, will continue at Art Atrium II Gallery through April 30.
The show will include paintings by Lisa Carol Jeffress and Ethel E. Clarke, photographs by LeBarbara Jones-Mack and ceramics by Robin Hodges.
Jeffress, a Danville native and Old Dominion University graduate, paints in oils various scenes of women in many different settings. Her ``Inspirational Women'' includes pictures of famous women who serve as role models for today's women.
Clarke, a New York native now living in Virginia Beach, studied at Bacca Art School in Brooklyn and now studies at the Virginia Beach Center for the Arts. She paints colorful abstracts and landscapes and vibrant florals.
Jones-Mack, a Norfolk native, studied at the Atlanta College of Art and attended the New York Institute of Photography. The exhibit includes photos of women and of area scenes as well as some oil paintings by Jones-Mack.
Hodges was born in Norfolk and has degrees from Norfolk State and Old Dominion universities. She studied with Portsmouth potter Howard Johnson. She lectures and teaches classes in ceramics. Her sculptures are unique, and her ceramic pieces are functional.
