Six high school baseball teams from northeastern North Carolina will participate in the three-day Easter Baseball Tournament beginning Saturday. All games will be held at Camden County High School.
Action kicks off Saturday when Northeastern plays Hertford County at 3:30 p.m. Thirty minutes after the end of the first game, Perquimans County will play Edenton-Holmes.
The tournament will continue on Monday. At 1:30 p.m., the loser of the Edenton-Perquimans game will play the loser of the Northeastern-Hertford County game. At 4 p.m., Currituck County will make its debut with a game against the winner of the Northeastern-Hertford County tilt. At 7 p.m., host Camden County will battle the winner of the Perquimans-Edenton game.
The third-place game will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The fifth-place game will be played at 4 p.m. The championship game will be played at 7 p.m.
The cost of the event is $3 per day.
