Country star, Tracy Lawrence, is the big gun at Suffolk Spring Spectacular, a three-day balloon festival, but he is by no means the event's only attraction.
There will be a lot of entertainment on the Main Stage, Family Stage, and Permanent Stage from April 11 to 13.
What - exactly?
MAIN STAGE
April 11
6:30 p.m. - The Sting Rays playing oldies but goodies.
7:45 p.m. - The Platters with their familiar hits, and Odyssey.
April 12
3:30 p.m. - Bill Lyerly Band. They were into country. This time, it's classic rock.
6 p.m. - The Lewis McGehee Band. Still more classic rock.
7:30 p.m. - The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. And, still more classic rock.
April 13
3 p.m. - Wild Heart. This is pure country.
4:30 p.m. - Tracy Lawrence. Thirteen No. 1 hits including ``Sticks and Stones,'' ``Alibis,'' ``If the Good Die Young,'' and ``If the World Had a Front Porch.''
FAMILY STAGE
April 12
10 a.m. - Wappadoodle Puppets. For the kiddies.
11 a.m. - Owens Academy of Korean Martial Arts. You'll get a kick out of them.
12 noon - Peanut City Cloggers. Suffolk's country dancers.
April 13
10 a.m. - C-Shells. Still more puppets.
11 a.m. - Bateman's School of Karate. Still more kicking.
12 noon - Flatland Cloggers. Still more country dancing.
PERMANENT STAGE
April 12
9:30 p.m. - Party for Spring Spectacular volunteers. Country music by Wooden Nickel.
April 13
