Leisa Dyphne Clemons, 29, of the 700 block of Bannister St. died April 4, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ, Chesapeake, and the Women Chorus and the Heart to Heart Ministry.
Ms. Clemons was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Clemons.
Survivors include her mother, Brenda Wyman of Chesapeake; sister, Tamesha Clemons of Chesapeake; maternal grandfather, Morris Clemons of Chesapeake; maternal great-grandmother, Bessie Sivels of Chesapeake; uncle, Carlton Clemons of Chesapeake; nephew, Darion Clemons of Chesapeake; two aunts, Sheila Cassidone of Virginia Beach and Carolyn Slight of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 1997, in Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ, Chesapeake, by the Rev Dr. G. Wesley Hardy. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
