Bernie Horrocks, 32, of the 4600 block of Crown Point Lane, died April 8, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Fort Belvoir, Va., she was a very active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and a district representative of Lutheran Womens Missionary League. She was also a member of Tidewater Quilters Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey A. Horrocks; two daughters, Kristine and Megan of Virginia Beach; a son, Shaun of Virginia Beach; mother, Joyce Simms, and stepfather, Arthur Simms of Douglas, Wyo.; a sister, Chris Taylor of Texas; a brother, Greig Radford of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church by Pastor Edwin Nicklas. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
