MICHAEL S. NASH

Michael Steven Nash, a mariner, of the 8800 block of Devon St. completed his odyssey through this life on April 6, 1997, at age 49 in Muskogee, Okla.

A native of Norfolk, he was a Catholic. He served in the U.S. Navy and in the Merchant Marines.

Survivors include his mother, Marie Dion Loomer, and his stepfather, Kenneth M. Loomer, of Norfolk; father, Robert Anthony Nash of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Dolores Sturgeon of Fairland, Okla.; brother, Patrick H. Nash, and his wife, Theresa, of Chesapeake; an aunt, Phyllis Lingerfelt; cousins; two nephews, Steven Michael Alfaro, and his wife, Donna, of Thomas, Okla., Nester Alfaro, and his wife, Dawn, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three great-nieces, Yolanda, MaLeah and Miah Alfaro of Colorado Springs.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by Father William J. Dale in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
