Deacon Arthur Boone Sr. died April 8, 1997. He was a member of Emanuel Temple, Norfolk.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Mamie Everrett, Irene Tropier, Arthur Boone Jr., Dennis Boone, Darold Boone; a brother, Willie Boone; a sister, Pearl Boone Young; two sons-in-law; three daughters-in-law; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Jerusalem United Holy Church of America, 1602 Hover St., Chesapeake. The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Hampton. Family and friends will gather at 5881 Hargrove St., Norfolk, by 10 a.m. Saturday. O.H.
