WILLIAM E. VESTAL

William E. ``Bill'' Vestal, of the 3100 block of Shore Dr., died Tuesday in alocal hospital.

He was a native of Greensboro, N.C., but had lived in Virginia for the past 50 years in the Hopewell, Richmond, and Tidewater areas. He was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. He was also a retiree from the Wards Co. of Richmond.

Mr. Vestal is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Bobbitt Vestal; two sisters, Ann V. Tilley of Greensboro and Mary V. Youngs of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four nephews and two nieces of Greensboro.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Canterbury of Virginia Beach on Friday at 2 p.m., after the service the family will remain to recieve friends. The Rev. Allen Johnson and Rev. William H. Acosta will officiate. The family will meet friends after the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church or to the fellowship fund of Westminster Canterbury. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
