DAISY R. CORDLE

Daisy R. Cordle, 88, of the 300 block of McGinnis Circle West, died April 15,1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of William Parker Cordle. She was a retired employee of Naval Supply Center in Norfolk with 25 years service. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Norfolk, and the Women's Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include a son, Otis R. Jones of Norfolk; two sisters, Margaret R. Garner of Suffolk and Leona R. Gudema of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Harry J. Roughton of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Michael R. Jones of Canton, Ga., Michelle R. Ollinger of Kennesaw, Ga., Leslie D. Jones of Homestead, Fla.; six great-grandchildren, Christopher Jones and Rachael Jones of Homestead, Rebecca McKenzie Jones and Austin Jones, both of Canton, Kyle Ollinger and Angel Ollinger, both of Kennesaw.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Herbert D. Holton in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, where entombment will be. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
