Jane Runnette Young, 87, of the 100 block of 66th St., died April 20, 1997, in Norfolk.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the widow of Francis Marion Young and retired from residential real estate sales. She was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was active in Sunday School and Circle Activities. She was a member of the Belvedere Garden Club, the Friday Study Club and also retired from the American Business Women's Association and the Tidewater Board of Realtors. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Murray McDuffie of Norfolk, Barbara S. Young of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lois Ache Rudolph of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Vincent F. Murray III, Kathleen H. Ballard, Raymond C. Hightower, Patricia C. Hightower; two great-granddaughters, Morgan Ashley Murray and Meredith Jane Murray; two great-grandsons, John Ballard and Wilson Ballard.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church by Dr. John R. Monroe. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
