Robert Gordon Simonsen Jr., 48, of the 500 block of Currituck Drive died April 20, 1997, in Massachusetts.
A senior S&I technician for Consumer Powers, he was a native of Bremerton, Wash., and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen A. Simonsen; two daughters, Shanna C. Simonsen and Meredith T. Simonsen, both of Chesapeake; son, Jeremy M. Simonsen of Chesapeake; brother, Christian P. Simonsen of Westerly, R.I.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by Father James C. Ditty. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
