Phyllis Beckworth Lewis, 62, died April 22, 1997.
Born in Los Angeles on Aug. 22, 1934, she had been a resident of Mountain Home since 1989 and also of Alexandria, Va. She was a registered nurse for the Department of Interior and a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond. She was a Methodist and the daughter of Ruby M. Mitchell of Des Arc, Ark. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, caregiver and friend.
Survivors also include her husband, Ed Lewis; sons, Robert Eric Freund of Virginia Beach, Karl Edward Freund, Thomas Stewart Freund, both of Reston, Va.; and a daughter, Pamela Elaine Freund of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Kirby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. Kirby and Family Funeral Directors is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
