Amid name plates from old shipwrecks, Manteo Elementary School

fourth-graders get a lesson on shipwrecks Thursday from National

Park Service volunteer Kim King-Wrenn of Buxton. The students were

given a tour of the Fearing Family Shipwreck Collection at the

Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station in Rodanthe. The tour was part of

the ``Life as a Lifesaver'' program.
