A Hampton Roads story about a movie filming in Newport News

contained incorrect dates. The sentence should have read: ``Built in

1944 as a troop transport, the Vandenberg was converted in 1965 for

tracking and testing nuclear missiles.''

Eastern Virginia Medical School is launching two new degree

programs, but only one of them, the master's degree program in

public health, will be in conjunction with Old Dominion University.

A headline in Friday's Hampton Roads section had an error.

Rear Admiral Douglas H. Teeson is a 1965 graduate of the U.S.

Coast Guard Academy. An item in Thursday's Hampton Roads section had

the wrong year.

A telephone number for reservations for the May 8 luncheon at the

re-created Smith & Welton Tearoom at Tidewater Community College was

incorrect in Thursday's Norfolk Compass section. The number to call

is 628-5202.
