DOROTHY J. MABRY

By the grace of our Lord, Dorothy Johnson Mabry entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 26, 1997. A native of Norfolk, Dorothy was the youngest daughter of the late Hattie V. and Robert O. Johnson Sr. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and gave 25 years of service at Smith and Welton Department Store.

She is survived by three children, Marica Cromer of Washington, D.C., Bernard H. Mabry Jr. of New Orleans, La., and Denise Cox of Springfield; four grandsons and a brother, Robert O. Johnson Jr. of New York City.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 1997, in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. the day of the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
