DOROTHY D. WILLIAMS

Dorothy D. Williams, 66, of the 600 block of Elmhurst Lane died April 27, 1997, in a local hospital.

A retired operator for Maryview Medical Center, Center Communications, she was a Newport News native and the widow of Richard D. Williams.

Survivors include her daughter, Gail C. Williams of Suffolk; three sons, Linwood T. Crutchfield, Ernest H. Crutchfield and Preston R. Lanier, all of Portsmouth; four sisters, Annette Densmore and Karen Bourgian of Bath, Maine, Ramona Mech of Newport, R.I., Shirley D. Collins of Portsmouth; two brothers, Raymond Harmon of Windsor Locks, Conn., and Herbert E. Jones of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Chaplain Neal Sasser. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Maryview Foundation or to the Maryview Garden of Life. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
