Anne Eure O'Neal, 78, a resident of Beth Shalom Sands, died April 28, 1997, in Chesapeake.
Born in Suffolk, she was a retired bookkeeper for Associated Transport and a member of the Tidewater Bridge Club.
Survivors include two sons, Donald C. O'Neal of Windsor, Conn., Maltire N. O'Neal Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mildred Mobley of Richmond, Jean Crumpler of Alexandria; two brothers, Robert Eure of Suffolk, Jack Eure of Richmond; four grandchildren, Brian C. O'Neal, Cynthia O. Payne, Jennifer J. O'Neal and M. Nick O'Neal III; two great-grandchildren, Crista O'Neal and Taylor Payne.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Paul Kettner. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
