Roy Stevenson Harden, beloved husband, father and a grandfather, died Friday, May 2, 1997. He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Bertie County, N.C. He was a retired merchant seaman and Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; brother, Leslie Harden of Chesapeake; his son, Phillip Harden of Virginia Beach; daughters, Belinda Harden of Virginia Beach, Tammy Dunnaway of Virginia Beach, and Jean Anderson of Orlando, Fla.; stepson, Wayne Koller of Chesapeake; stepdaughter, Denise Curtis of Chesapeake and Cynthia Bennorth of Brea, Calif. He is survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with burial at sea. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
