STANLEY L. MORRIS III

Stanley L. Morris III, 34, of Richmond, the good son of S. Lee Morris of Portsmouth and Kay Francis Cox of Richmond, departed this life May 1, 1997, in Richmond. Although during his short life, he suffered much pain and adversity, he met it with great courage.

Survivors include his sister, Cynthia Kay Cowan of Portsmouth, and his grandmother, Eleanor Fuller of Newport News.

A loving son, Stan was a graduate of Churchland High School and a member of All-State Band. He attended Old Dominion University on scholarship and was a member of the pep band. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from John Tyler College with a degree in electrical engineering. He was deeply devoted to his two pet cats, Hope and Faith. Although he is no longer near, the love of his family will continue forever.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Father David Wilson. The family wil receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pray that Stan's meeting with his God be a joyful one. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
