Melvin ``Bubba'' Jones, 55, of the 1200 block of Lead St., died April 29, 1997.
A retired truck driver from Joyce Beverage, Norwalk, Conn., he was a Norfolk native and is survived by his wife, Mozell Jones; three daughters, Fawn Brooks of Bridgeport, Conn., Regina Green of Hampton, Va., Kimberly Jones of Virginia Beach; mother, Otelia Jenkins of Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Russella Bass of Lorain, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney, Gregory, Karl, Christopher, Nicole and Lillian; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Rue E. Porter. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
