Erwin L. Gutknecht, 69, of the 5500 block of Keydet Drive died May 2, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Hazen, N.D., Mr. Gutknecht had retired from Borg Warner/ Echlin International as a warehouse manager. He was a member of the Elks Club, Memphis, Tenn. Lodge No. 2039.
He is survived by a sister, Helen Lang of Billings, Mont.; two brothers, Edgar Gutknecht and his wife, Helen, of Rio Verde, Ariz., Gerald Gutknecht of Hazen; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
