Esther Jaria Willey, 19, of the 1000 block of Baltimore St., died Saturday, May 3, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital as the result of a pedestrian-vehicular accident.
She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Bernice Davis Willey and Edward L. Willey Sr. Jaria was an electronics student at Norfolk Vocational and Technical Center and a cashier trainee at Rack & Sack on Tidewater Drive. She was a member of United Mission Holiness Church and a graduate of Granby High School, class of 1996.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four sisters, Violet Edwards, Ellen M. Harris, Regina Mobley and Marietta E. Willey; five brothers, Edward L. Willey Jr., Michael A. Willey, MSGT David Willey, USAF, Allen C. Willey and Lt. Max A. Willey, USN.
