DESMOND A. RAMAN

Desmond Arthur ``Desi'' Raman, 35, of the 100 block of Seaside Lane, died May 1, 1997, in Sacramento, Calif.

Born in Queens, N.Y., he was a member of Calvary Evangelism Center, Sacramento, and served in the U.S. Army for four years.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Coleman Raman; two stepdaughters, Teresa Latasha and Achille DeLaura Coleman; mother, Joan Arnold; a sister, Renee Raman; two brothers, Dauarajan Raman and Christopher Raman; cousins, Leroy Keith Little and Alice Cooper; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Thiruvengadam Raman.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Roosevelt Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Chesapeake, where entombment will take place.

Desmond touched the lives of many with his remarks of wisdom and will be missed by all. Mrs. Joan Arnold will be receiving friends for visitation at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
