BERTRON F. EURE

Bertron F. ``Bert'' Eure, 85, of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., died Monday, May 5, 1997, in a Pasadena, Fla., hospital.

Mr. Eure was a retired contracting officer for the Department of Defense. He was a native of Portsmouth and a former member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church, where he served as Sunday School superintendent. He was also a member of Tidal Wave Masonic Lodge (NU)273 and the Port Norfolk Royal Arch Chapter (NU)36.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey M. Eure of St. Petersburg Beach; a daughter, Delores Rodman of Portsmouth; a son, Jeffrey Eure of San Miguel, Mexico; a brother, Harvey Eure Jr. of Portsmouth; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Cottage Place United Methodist Church by the Rev. James Thomas. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church social hall at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for a light lunch and visitation. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
