After an absence of more than three decades, the Maury Regatta for youths will set sail again today on the Lafayette River off Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
Open to high school seniors and below, classes will include Flying Junior, Laser Radial, Moth, Optimist and Hampton One.
The opening race is set for 10:30 a.m.
First held in 1933, the regatta ran 33 years before being dropped in 1966 for non-participation.
