Led by player of the year Paul Pavon, regular-season and tournament champion Cape Henry Collegiate put five players on the All-Tidewater Conference boys lacrosse team selected by the coaches.
Pavon, a junior attackman, led the conference in goals, assists and points. Pavon scored 51 goals and 41 assists for 92 points.
Teammates Todd Feldman and Mark Kelly finished 2-3 in scoring behind Pavon.
Feldman, a junior attackman/midfielder, scored 39 goals and 28 assists for 67 points. Kelly, a junior midfielder and faceoff specialist, scored 38 goals and 10 assists for 48 points.
The Dolphins' other first-teamers are senior defenseman Matt Dancigers, a repeat pick, and junior keeper Scott Crocker. Crocker, a three-years starter, had a 53-percent save percentage.
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy put three players on the first team and Norfolk Collegiate and Hampton Roads Academy had one each.
Representing the Saints are senior longstick midfielder Jacob Johnson, junior longstick defenseman Jay Nixon and senior midfielder Bryan Sharp.
Johnson, who weighs only 130 pounds, averaged more than 9 ground balls per game; Nixon scored 1 goal and 4 assists in addition to wielding one of the best sticks in the league; Sharp scored 9 goals.
Representing Norfolk Collegiate is senior defenseman Aaron Osmundson.
