Hull Technician CPO Surface Warfare Victor George Buonfigli, USN, 47, formerly of Norfolk, died May 14, 1997.
He served in the U.S. Navy at the Naval Reserve Center, McKeesport, Pa., as a hull technician chief petty officer surface warfare. He was an Akron, Ohio, native and a Catholic. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post in McKeesport.
Survivors include his wife, Linda ``Kathy'' Gainous Buonfigli; daughter, Victoria Buonfigli of Jeannette; son, Michael Buonfigli of Jeannette; mother, Stella Zaras Buonfigli of Norfolk; sister, Florinda Buonfigli of Chesapeake; two brothers, Richard Buonfigli of Chesapeake and Dean Buonfigli of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jordan Burton of Jeannette.
He was the son of the late Victor T. Buonfigli.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Cmdr. B.L. Kingwood, U.S. Navy chaplain. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
