CHESAPEAKE

MARSHALL LEADS ENGINEERS: The American Society of Civil Engineers, Norfolk branch, elected Wendy L. Marshall as president for 1997-98. She works for the Chesapeake Department of Public Works.

NORFOLK

TURRIETTA NAMED ASSOCIATE WITH LAW FIRM: J. Derek Turrietta was named an associate at Stackhouse, Smith & Nexsen. He is a general civil litigator with 3 1/2 years of experience. He practices in commercial transactions and real property land use issues.

KITCHEN NAMED CONTROLLER: Meredith Construction Co. appointed Mark S. Kitchen, a certified public accountant, to controller. He was previously a principal with Gruenke, Kitchen & Jones where he served as the company's auditor and tax accountant for the past 13 years.

VIRGINIA BEACH

PARKER APPOINTED LOAN OFFICER: Lisa Seaver Parker was named a loan officer at Enterprise Mortgage Corp. She has 10 years of experience in the Hampton Roads area as a loan officer.

STAFF CHANGES: Irene Sutton was named an officer and director of the law office of Charles R. Hofheimer. Also, Karen S. Papasodora has joined Sonya L. Powell as an associate. The firm represents women in counseling, negotiating and litigating pre-marital, marital, separation agreements, divorces, child and spousal support, child custody and visitation matters.

HAMPTON

DALY APPOINTED SALES MANAGER: John C. Daly was named sales manager at GSH Real Estate's Hampton sales office. Daly has been a licensed Virginia Realtor since 1989. He was previously affiliated with Re/Max Peninsula, JoAnn Davis Realty and Atlantic Homes Realty.

VIRGINIA

DENTON JOINS INVESTMENT FIRM: Michael C.

Denton has joined the asset management division of Branch Cabell & Co. in Richmond as a vice president, portfolio manager, and investment policy committee member.
