Lowry C. ``L.C.'' Cartwright Jr., 75, of the 600 block of Johnstown Road, died May 18, 1997.
Mr. Cartwright was born in Pasquotank County, N.C., and was retired from the Navy. He was a member of Centerville Baptist Church of Chesapeake and the J. Robert Graham Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carol Cartwright; two daughters, Linda Cooper of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lowri George of Chesapeake; a sister, Hazel Denny of Chesapeake; two brothers, Milwood Cartwright of Chesapeake and Charles Cartwright of Pulaski, Va.; and three grandchildren, Michael Cooper of Virginia Beach, Jennifer Cooper of Knoxville, Tenn., and Christina George of Chesapeake.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m Tuesday. There will be no service, and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
