FRIZZELL WATSON

Frizzell Watson of the 6500 block of Glenoak Drive died May 20, 1997.

Born in Jackson, N.C., Mr. Watson was retired and a member of the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk, and its male usher board, A.A.S.R. Masons (Northern Jurisdiction), past worshipful master of Philander 100, Past commanding and chief keystone consistory, past potentate of Ababah Temple (NU)39 and a 33rd Degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Alee B. Watson; a daughter, Doris Ming of Chesapeake; a sister, Mary Brooks of Vermont; three brothers, Ferdinand Watson of Jackson, N.C., Abner Watson of Norfolk, the Rev. Theodore Watson of Norfolk; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Ronnie D. Joyner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. Saturday for the procession. The remains will be placed in church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
