Richard Warren ``Rick'' McClintic, 47, of Route 2, died May 16, 1997 of a massive heart attack.
Mr. McClintic was born in Philadelphia. He was a school teacher in Suffolk and a painter and carpenter at Ferrum College. He was a member and recreation leader of Faith Fellowship Church in Rocky Mount, Va. He was a 1972 graduate of Old Dominion University and a 1967 graduate of Princess Anne High School.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia McClintic; six sons, John Mark McClintic, Paul Andrew McClintic, David Michael McClintic, Matthew Aaron McClintic, Peter James McClintic and Joel Micah McClintic; his mother, Alice M. McClintic; his father, Elwood S. McClintic; a brother, Elwood Andrew McClintic; grandparent, Agnes Reis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bayside Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Don Wilson. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
