William Bert Bazemore, 74, of East Stokes St., died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, in Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
A native of Chowan County, Mr. Bazemore was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Bazemore is survived by a sister, Mary Potts of Chesapeake; his brother-in-law, Forrest H. ``Jack'' Potts of Chesapeake, and his nephew, Danny Bass of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Friday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
