William Russell Cook, 55, of the 2100 block of Parker Ave., died May 25, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
A native of Portsmouth, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a barber.
Survivors include his wife, Doris M. Cook; two sons, Aaron J. Cook of Stone Mountain, Ga., Morris Neal of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Ethel Cook and Quintella Cook, both of Portsmouth; a brother, Alexander Cook of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; two uncles, two aunts, two daughters-in-law, Ernestine Cook and Rhonda Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by the Rev. W.S. Hampton. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, with military honors. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
