Dr. Nicholas Badin died Saturday, May 31, 1997, at his residence.
He was a retired radiologist.
Surviving are his wife, Jane Badin; three sons, Richard N. Badin of Raleigh, N.C., B. Scott Badin of Richmond and Alex N. Badin of Petersburg; daughter-in-law, Tracy L. Badin; grandson, Owen B. Badin; four sisters, Ursula Badin, Petrona Negrete-Badin, Hulio Torres and Susan Badin; and two brothers, Antonio Badin and Dr. Julio Badin.
A Christian funeral service will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Sacred Heart by Father James E. Gallagher Jr. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1124 Overbrook Road, Petersburg, Va. 23805, or the Crater Community Hospice, 4233 Crossings Blvd., Prince George, Va. 23875.
