The jury in the murder trial of Zackary Anthony Carter, 15, was unable to reach a verdict Thursday in the third day of deliberations. The panel will reconvene today.
Carter is charged in the Sept. 10 murder of his half sister, Cierra Rose Carter. He was 14 at the time. If the jurors believe Carter is guilty, they could convict him of first-degree murder, second-degree murder or involuntary manslaughter. KEYWORDS: MURDER SHOOTING TRIAL JUVENILE
